Learning about less-known countries is fun because you can teach your students everything about that particular country. It opens their eyes to a whole new country, culture, and language. A country I like to teach about that doesn’t get a lot of media nor textbook attention is Poland! My Poland printables are chock-full of activities, readings, crafts and writing pages.
This is an example of a traditional Polish design that is seen in embroidery and in other Polish crafts. You can use the flower that is already designed or you can allow your students to design their own flower.
Each of my Around the World packets have lots of writing activities for students. Here’s an example of one where students compare and contrast Poland with their own country.
