Mother’s Day is nearly here!
Mother’s Day is celebrated in the United States and Canada on the second Sunday in May. If you’re teaching the students in your elementary school classroom about Mother’s Day, why not have them complete a word search of Mother’s Day-related words? Simply print out the free PDF download and then distribute the worksheet to the students in your class to complete.
While you’re at it, there are plenty of other fun activities you can do for Mother’s Day – have your students create art for their mothers, grandmothers or for the other caregivers in their lives, or compose poetry about what they value most about their family.
However you choose to celebrate the day in the classroom, I hope that you, your children and your moms celebrate a fun and loving Mother’s Day!
