For several months now we have been selling curriculum online at two storefronts: Teachers Pay Teachers and Teachers Notebook. While we’ve been offering free worksheets and activities here on Mixminder, we have also been growing our online store, to the point where we have a significant number of products available for sale. We’d like to show some of the work we’ve been doing!
For the past several months we’ve been concentrating on offering products to help teachers and homeschooling parents teach their students according to the Common Core State State Standards Initiative for mathematics and English language arts (reading and literacy). These educational standards were created by the United States government to help teachers ensure that their students have the skills and knowledge required to be successful. Students are given clear goals for learning, while teachers and schools can ensure that they are providing an education at a level that is consistent with other schools across the nation.
Thanksgiving Quick Common Core Math is a packet featuring ten colorful worksheets in PDF format for various elementary school grade levels with a Thanksgiving theme. These worksheets can be used on a daily basis as warm-ups to a daily classroom lesson, as in-class activities, or as homework assignments. All of the Common Core state standards for mathematics are covered for each grade level. There is also a Thanksgiving Quick Common Core Literacy packet, featuring reading and comprehension problems for each English Language Arts and Literacy standard per grade level.
It’s been a lot of fun creating products for Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the fall season!
